An extraordinary general meeting to pass several resolutions for Cosco Shipping (S) Agencies Pte. Ltd. (registration no. 199708278E) was held on Tuesday (13 September), according to a 16 September notice posted on the Government Gazette.
The meeting was held by electronic means at 9am where the following Resolutions were passed:
AS SPECIAL RESOLUTIONS
(a) That the Company be wound up voluntarily.
(b) That the Liquidator be and is hereby authorised to exercise any or all of the powers given by Section 144 (1)(b), (c), (d), (e), (f) and (g) and 144 (2) of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.
(c) That the Liquidator be authorised to distribute either in cash or in specie to the contributories any part or all of the surplus assets of the Company.
AS ORDINARY RESOLUTIONS
(a) That the appointment of Mr. Tee Wey Lih, care of Acres Advisory Private Limited 531A Upper Cross Street #03-128, Hong Lim Complex, Singapore 051531, as Liquidator of the Company for the purpose of such winding up be and is hereby approved.
A second notice was published on the Government Gazette notifying creditors of Cosco Shipping (S) Agencies that they are required to send in their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to the liquidator on or before 17 October 2022.
