Singapore: Bunker surveying firm Zack Marine Services faces winding up application

Application for the winding up of Zack Marine Services was filed by an individual named Wai Yok In, a creditor of the company, on 25 July, according to Government Gazette notice.

The winding up application of  bunker surveying firm Zack Marine Services is scheduled to be heard at the High Court of Singapore at 10 am on 22 August, according to a Monday (11 August) notice on the Government Gazette.

The application was filed by an individual named Wai Yok In, a creditor of the company, on 25 July.

According to the company’s website, Zack Marine Services was established in 2005 and is a specialist providing marine surveying/inspections which include bunker surveys, ship-to-ship transfers and petroleum inspection.

“Zack Marine Services had undertaken surveys / inspections for various companies and P&I correspondents such as Matthews Daniel International Pte Ltd, Nortas P&I and etc,” the website stated. 

The notice stated that any creditor or contributory of the company desiring to support or oppose the making of an order on the winding up application may appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose.

A copy of the winding up application will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the company requiring the copy of the winding up application by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The Applicant’s solicitors are David Lim & Partners LLP of 50 Raffles Place, #17-01, Singapore Land Tower, Singapore 048623.

Note: Any person who intends to appear at the hearing of the winding up application, either to oppose or support, must serve on or send by post to the Claimant’s solicitors, DAVID LIM & PARTNERS LLP of 50 Raffles Place, #17-01, Singapore Land Tower, Singapore 048623, notice in writing of his intention to do so. This notice must state the name and address of the person, or if a firm, the name and address of the firm, and must be signed by the person, firm, or his or their solicitors (if any). Unless otherwise directed by the Court, the notice must be served and, if sent by post, must be posted in such sufficient time as in the ordinary course of post to reach the Claimant’s solicitors at least 3 clear working days before the day appointed for the hearing of the application.

The final meeting for Tiger LNG Shipping Pte Ltd has been scheduled to take place on 29 June, according to the company’s liquidators on a notice posted on Friday (29 May) on the Government Gazette.

The meetings will be held at 10.30am at 190 Middle Road #17-05 Fortune Centre Singapore 188979. 

The meeting is being held for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.
