An application for the winding up of Big M Marine Pte Ltd was filed by Maybank Singapore Limited on 16 August, according to Monday (26 August) notice on the Government Gazette.

It noted the winding up application is directed to be heard before the Judge sitting in the General Division of the High Court at 10am on 6 September. 

According to the Big M Marine’s website, the company offered bunkering services including bunkering management, bunker trading and sample testing. 

Any creditor or contributory of the company desiring to support or oppose the making of an order on the winding up application may appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose.

A copy of the winding up application will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the company requiring the copy of the winding up application by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The Applicant’s address is 2 Battery Road #01-01 Maybank Tower Singapore 049907.

The Applicant’s solicitors are Adsan Law LLC of 300 Beach Road #26-00 The Concourse Singapore 199555.

Note: Any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the winding up application must serve on or send by post to the abovenamed Adsan Law LLC, notice in writing of his intention to do so. The notice must state the name and address of the person, or if a firm, the name and address of the firm, and must be signed by the person, firm, or his or their solicitor (if any) and must be served, or if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the abovenamed Adsan Law LLC at least 3 clear working days before the date appointed for the hearing of the winding up application ie. no later than Monday the 2nd day of September 2024.

According to the notice, the annual meeting of the company and its creditors will be held at 8 Wilkie Road, #03-08 Wilkie Edge, Singapore 228095 via audio-visual conference on 20 August at 11am.  

The purpose of the meeting is to have an account laid before the meeting showing the acts and dealings of the liquidators and the conduct of the winding up in the preceding year.

The final meeting for LNG Easy (S) Private Limited has been scheduled to take place on 7 September, according to the company’s liquidator on a notice posted on Friday (7 August) on the Government Gazette.

The meetings will be held at 10am at 6 Shenton Way, OUE Downtown 2, #33-00, Singapore 068809. 

The meeting is being held for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidators.

It is also held to consent to the release of the liquidators upon the dissolution of the company and thereby discharge them from all liabilities in respect of any act done or default made by them in the administration of the affairs of the company.

Manifold Times previously reported the High Court of Singapore issuing a winding up order to LNG Easy (S).

The winding up application was filed by China-based Shanghai Hengda (Jituan) Youxian Gongsi on 25 June.
