Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG (Shell Oman) on Wednesday (13 March) reportedly said it has signed a three-year agreement with Muttrah Tourism Development Co LLC to manage fuel bunkering facilities and services at Mina Al Sultan Qaboos (MSQ).
The agreement sees Shell Oman managing the operations and maintenance of marine fuel storage tanks while providing bunkers and lubricants at MSQ.
“Shell Oman will become the primary fuel facility operator at the port and will be a key supplier of different grades of marine fuels and lubricant calling at MSQ,” said Dr Al Balushi, CEO of Shell Oman, in a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
“This contract is expected to contribute to the continued growth of marine business in Shell Oman,” said.
Shell Oman in December 2018 signed an agreement with Port of Duqm Company SAOC (PDC) to develop fuel bunkering facilities and services.
