Europe’s independent operator in oil refining Saras recently said its bunkering business has now fully integrated in the global Vitol Bunkers network and is embarking on a new phase of strategic transformation.

The company recently expanded its fleet with an additional bunker barge equipped with Mass Flow Meter (MFM) technology.

“All our marine fuels are exclusively sourced from our Sarroch refinery, rigorously tested, and subjected to stringent quality controls, offering our clients the assurance of refinery-grade products,” it said in a social media post.

“With the Mediterranean ECA zone now in force, we are proud to serve as a key supplier of 0.1%S marine fuels, including ULSFO, supporting shipowners in meeting increasingly demanding environmental standards.”

“Through our integration with Vitol, we are actively supporting the decarbonisation of shipping, helping ensure compliance with IMO and EU requirements, and working closely with shipowners to achieve both technical and commercial objectives.”
