Industry rumours regarding the closure of international bunker trading house Praxis Energy Agents’ Singapore branch are untrue, says the General Manager of Praxis Energy Agents Pte Ltd in Singapore.
Rumours regarding the closure of its Singapore office by Friday (8 November) were circulating around the Singapore bunkering market on Monday.
“It is not true; actually we are hiring some more traders to expand the team here in [the] Singapore office,” Nikos Siakavaras told Manifold Times on Tuesday afternoon.
“As far as the Singapore office is concerned all of these are just hearsay.”
Praxis Energy Agents was originally established in Greece in 1998, and currently operates through its four offices in Singapore, Dubai, Hamburg and New York.
