UAE-based vessel operator Oilmar Shipping and Chartering on Friday (3 June) announced the opening of  its bunkering subsidiary in Greece – Oilmar Greece SPC. 

Stella Lykouri, Senior trader at Oilmar is leading the efforts on developing the Greek Market and the company’s representation in Greece.

“With the official opening of the Greek office at Athens Tower, Oilmar marks its presence in one of the most important hub for shipping,” said Rakesh Sharma (Head of Business) in a social media post by Oilmar announcing the feat. 

“Expansion serves as a strategic move in the Mediterranean market, where Oilmar traditionally has been operating a huge tonnage and brings us closer to the shipowners and clients.”

Oilmar could not be more excited to have this announcement just around a massive maritime event in Greece, it said.
