Liquidators issue final meeting notice to creditors for Sea Navigation Shipping

A notice informing creditors of the final meeting for defunct shipping firm Sea Navigation Shipping Pte Ltd has been issued by its liquidators at the Government Gazette on Monday (10 May).

The Final Meeting of Sea Navigation Shipping will be held on 11 June 2021 at 22 Malacca Street, #03-02 RB Capital Building, Singapore 048980 at 10.00 am.

The purpose of the final meeting will be to:

  • Have the accounts laid before the member showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.
  • Authorise the Liquidator to dispose of the books of accounts and documents of the Company and of the Liquidator, 5 years after the date of dissolution of the Company.
  • Consider to the release of the Liquidator upon the dissolution of the Company and thereby discharge him from all liabilities in respect of any act done or default made by him in the administration of the affairs of the Company.

A member/creditor of Sea Navigation Shipping entitled to attend and vote at the meeting may appoint a proxy to attend and vote in his stead; a proxy need not be a creditor of the Company.

The instrument appointing a proxy must be deposited with the Liquidator’s office not less than forty-eight (48) hours before the time appointed for holding the meeting.
