The classification society Korean Register (KR) in early May issued an advance notice on the establishment of the Classification Technical Rules (Rules and Guidance for Ships Using Methyl/Ethyl Alcohol as Fuel).
“KR has been developing the Classification Technical Rules to reflect the latest technology and needs of customers, and please be informed that the amendments are progressed on the attached Classification Technical Rules in this year,” it states.
