Gasum on Thursday (24 November) said it delivered LNG bunker fuel to Siem Car Carriers vessel Siem Confucius in Germany.
“The volatility in the LNG market gave us the opportunity to carry out another successful delivery of LNG to Siem Car Carriers vessel Siem Confucius in the port of Emden in Germany last Sunday,” Gasum said in a social media post.
The car carrier has a cargo capacity of about 7,500 units and is shipping cars for the Volkswagen group between Europe and the USA.
“The smooth and safe bunkering operation was performed by the skilled crews onboard Gasum´s LNG bunker vessel Coralius as well as the receiving ship. Thank you to all parties involved!” the firm continued.
In December 2020, Coralius reportedly supplied LNG marine fuel to the same car carrier vessel in Emden, Germany.
