E&S Tankers launches second LNG dual fuel chemical tanker “John T. Essberger”

E&S Tankers, a joint venture of Essberger Tankers and Stolt Tankers as an operator of chemical tankers within Europe, recently announced the launch of dual fuel chemical tanker John T. Essberger on 5 June.
“This summer we are delighted to deliver our first two newbuildings, Liselotte Essberger and John T. Essberger,” the firm said in a social media post.
“Equipped with LNG dual-fuel engines, we look forward to contributing to a more sustainable shipping future. A big thank you goes to our #team for all their hard work and dedication, our Owners’ representative and all the partners involved, especially our third party supervision team from Link Marine Ltd.”
On 6 April, the firm launched the first ship, Liselotte Essberger. The vessels are two of a total of four newbuildings that are equipped with dual-fuel engines.
