Danish shipowner Norden gets a new Head of Bunkers

Norden, a global provider of ocean-based freight services for bulk and project cargo, recently appointed Mikkel Marconi as its new Head of Bunkers.
Marconi started his career as a shipping trainee at Eitzen Bulk in 2006. At Norden, Marconi entered as the Assistant Bunkers Manager in 2011 before working his way up as the commercial lead for biofuels.
“For many, January is a month of new beginnings, and for me it’s an extra exciting one. I’m grateful to share that I am stepping into the role as Head of Bunkers at DS NORDEN,” he said in a social media post.
“Ever since I started as a shipping trainee, I have loved the industry for its international outlook and dynamic business environment. I cannot wait to help shape the future of what bunkering will look like for DS NORDEN with our amazing global team.”
