The court trial involving Dan-Bunkering and state prosecutors over an alleged breach of sanctions was reportedly temporarily suspended on Tuesday (2 November) due to potential impartiality.

After a lunch break, lawyers representing Dan-Bunkering asked for a closed door with judge Jens Lind and the two senior prosecutors from the Public Prosecutor for Special Economic and International Crime (SØIK).

Forty minutes later, judge Jens Lind returned to the courtroom and stated the hearing for the remaining day has been cancelled as he believed “questions have been raised about the impartiality of one of the members of the court,” as quoted by Danish Radio.

The judge said more information will be provided on Wednesday morning when the court is scheduled to meet again.
