Christiania Energy launches new office in Dubai

Christiania Energy on Thursday (16 October) announced the opening of its new office in Dubai, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion.

The privately held Danish physical supply and trading company, headquartered in Odense, Denmark, already operates in France and Egypt, with the broader Eitzen Group maintaining a presence in Spain, Norway, and the Netherlands.

“This strategic move further strengthens Christiania Energy’s international footprint and its commitment to serving key maritime and energy markets,” the company said.

Positioned at the crossroads of world trade, Dubai has long been a central hub for the maritime, energy, and logistics industries, serving as a gateway between Europe, Asia, and Africa.

“Establishing a presence here strengthens Christiania Energy’s ability to serve its growing portfolio of shipping companies, technical managers, brokers, traders, yacht operators, and industrial clients across the Middle East, Indian Ocean, and Asia-Pacific regions,” the company added.

The new Dubai office will act as a regional base for activities pertaining to lubricants’ supply and distribution, bunkers supply, and technical services, complementing Christiania Energy’s existing operations in Denmark, France and Egypt. By combining local expertise with global reach, the company aims to enhance services and reinforce long-term partnerships with both customers and suppliers.

“Even as global trade routes face challenges, Dubai continues to stand out as a vital logistics and trading hub between East and West,” said Patrick Jorgensen – Managing Director at Christiania Energy.

He explained further that: “Our presence here allows us to stay agile, build relations, support clients navigating these disruptions, and reinforce our role as a trusted energy partner to the maritime industry worldwide.”
