Bureau Veritas appoints new Global Head of Marine Fuel Services

Global commodities testing and inspection firm Bureau Veritas on Monday (8 July) appointed Charlotte Rojgaard as the new Global Head of Marine Fuel Services, VeriFuel.

“We are fortunate to have someone of Charlotte Rojgaard’s expertise and experience leading the VeriFuel business,” commented Richard Downs – Senior Vice President.

“With 2020 fuels on the horizon the marine fuels industry is at a milestone. Charlotte’s leadership ability and understanding of the industry keeps us firmly on course to support the market as it moves into a new, challenging environment”. 

According to the company, Rojgaard joined VeriFuel in January 2015 as Global Technical Manager to strengthen the team with her in-depth knowledge and experience of the marine fuels industry.

She has played a crucial role in the development of innovative digital technologies specifically designed for the marine fuel industry including logistics solutions and an interactive customer portal.

“I am delighted and excited to lead the VeriFuel business,” commented Rojgaard.

“We have done well in recent years and we have a great team of motivated and dedicated experts. I am enthusiastic to lead VeriFuel into a future and relish the upcoming challenges that the marine industry faces.”

The former Global Head of the Marine Fuel Services, VeriFuel, Ewoud Kamminga, has moved into the post of Global Director Downstream Fuels and Lubricants, taking responsibilities of both marine fuels and the group’s lubricants testing (OCM).
