Madrid-headquartered Molgas Energy Group on Wednesday (14 October) welcomed Riaan van Kralingen as the new Head of Clean Fuels in the company.
Van Kralingen will oversee Molgas’s Clean Fuels business end-to-end, from regulatory strategy and trading through to commercial sales and new business development.
“Working with teams across Norway, Spain and the Netherlands, he will oversee our liquefied biomethane (LBM/Bio-LNG) and EUA portfolio,” the company said.
Van Kralingen succeeds Caspar Gooren, Commercial Director of Clean Fuels, who is leaving the company after almost six years.
Molgas Energy Group said Gooren has played a central role in building Titan’s clean fuels business.
“As low-emission fuel demand grows and companies continue to travel down various decarbonisation pathways, Riaan’s appointment strengthens our ability to deliver compliant, scalable and practical options for our customers,” it added.
In October last year, Molgas announced the full acquisition of Titan Energy Holding, parent company of Titan Clean Fuels (Titan).
Following the acquisition, Titan’s LNG bunkering operations merged with Molgas’ existing operations in Norway and all truck-to-ship supply across Norway and continental Europe were combined.
