Stonewin, a bunker fuel supplier to defense institutions and the commercial sector, on Monday (8 December) announced a major expansion of its role in the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) global marine fuels programme.

Following a competitive tender, Stonewin said that it has been awarded six of twelve global supply regions – the maximum permitted to a single contractor.

“This significantly increases our footprint from the previous contract, held since 2017, which covered three regions and concluded on 30 April 2025, and reconfirms Stonewin’s strength in global government fuels supply,” the company said in a statement.

The company also announced the appointment of Marianna Doumouliaka as Bunker Supply Manager.

Doumouliaka brings nearly 30 years of experience in marine fuel procurement, joining Stonewin after a tenure at Centrofin Management Inc./Marine Trust Ltd, where she worked from 2007 to 2024, most recently leading the company’s bunkering operations.
