Singapore: Ocean Eternity to be wound up voluntarily, creditors to submit claims

Creditors of the company are required on or before 29 December 2025 to send in their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims to the appointed liquidators.

A notice in the Government Gazette was published by the Director of Ocean Eternity Pte Ltd on Friday (28 November), regarding some resolutions that were passed in relation to the winding up of the company as well as a separate notice to creditors. 

The special resolutions published in the notice include the following:

  • That the company be wound up voluntarily pursuant to Section 160(1)(b) of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.
  • That Mr. Leow Quek Shiong, Mr. Gary Loh Weng Fatt and Ms. Seah Roh Lin of 600 North Bridge Road #23-01 Parkview Square Singapore 188778 be and are hereby appointed the joint and several Liquidators of the Company for the purpose of such winding-up.
  • That the Liquidators be authorised to exercise any or all of the powers provided under Sections 144(1)(b), (c), (d), (e) and 144(2) of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018.
  • That the Liquidators be and are hereby authorised to distribute in specie any or all of the assets of the Company remaining after satisfaction of all debts and liabilities.

In another notice, the liquidators said creditors of the company, which is being wound up voluntarily, are required on or before 29 December 2025, to send in their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to the liquidators of the company and if so required, are to come in and prove their debts or claims as shall be specified or in default will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such proof.

The final meeting for Tiger LNG Shipping Pte Ltd has been scheduled to take place on 29 June, according to the company’s liquidators on a notice posted on Friday (29 May) on the Government Gazette.

The meetings will be held at 10.30am at 190 Middle Road #17-05 Fortune Centre Singapore 188979. 

The meeting is being held for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator.
