Global marine fuel trading and digital solutions company Shipergy on Monday (29 September) announced its audited results for the financial year ended 31 March 2025, highlighting a year of strong financial performance and resilience in challenging market conditions.
The company reported that its gross profit more than doubled year-on-year, rising over 100% to USD 3.2 million.
Profitability was achieved despite doubling the size of the team and continuing to invest in software and internal infrastructure.
Its liquidity strengthened with cash reserves almost tripling from USD 2.2 million to USD 6.3million.
Revenue was stable at USD 183.4 million – despite average VLSFO prices falling from USD 650 to USD 550/metric tonnes (mt), underlining significant growth in trading volumes.
The company continued investment in software innovation and international expansion, including new operations in Greece and Dubai.
Daniel Rose, CEO of Shipergy, said: “Gross profit growth of over 100% is a standout achievement for Shipergy in a very challenging operating environment. Holding revenues steady while fuel prices fell demonstrates the strength of our client base and the growth of our traded volumes.”
“At the same time, we achieved profitability and strengthened liquidity, all while continuing to invest heavily in people, technology, and new markets. These results prove that our strategy is working, and we are building a platform for sustainable long-term growth.”
