Webinar: New methanol engines: how will they power the future?

Technology Group Wärtsilä recently shared it will be organising a webinar for the shipping industry to learn more about Wärtsilä methanol engines; the event is scheduled to take place on 17 January 2024:

Methanol is one of the primary alternative fuel choices for the shipping industry to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Wärtsilä is one of the few marine engine builders with extensive experience of methanol engines, having converted the first of four engines on the ferry Stena Germanica already in 2015 and launched the Wärtsilä 32 Methanol in 2022 as one of the first solutions for using methanol as marine fuel.

Now it is time to introduce more engines to the portfolio.
