Total bunker sales at Panama was 477,901 metric tonnes (mt) in April, compared to sales of 417,305 mt during the similar period in 2021, according to PMA data.

Bunker fuel sales at Panama increased by about 14.52% in April 2022, according to the latest data from La Autoridad Maritima de Panama, also known as the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA).

Total bunker sales at Panama was 477,901 metric tonnes (mt) in April, compared to sales of 417,305 mt during the similar period in 2021.

In April 2022, the Pacific side of Panama posted bunker sales of 400,363 mt; 236,468 mt of VLSFO, 119,538 mt of RMG 380, 7,128 of marine gas oil (MGO), and 37,229 mt of low sulphur marine gas oil (LSMGO) were delivered.

The similar region saw total marine sales of 345,904 mt a year on April; with VLSFO sales at 249,052 mt, RMG 380 sales at 61,739 mt, MGO sales at 11,858 mt, and 23,255 mt of LSMGO being sold.

Panama’s Atlantic side, meanwhile, recorded total bunker fuel sales of 77,538 during April 2022; the figure comprised 52,655 mt of VLSFO, 14,944 mt of RMG 380, 2,021 mt of MGO, and 7,918 mt of LSMGO.

It saw total sales of 71,401 mt in April a year before; with VLSFO sales of 54,259 mt, RMG 380 sales of 6,310 mt, 2,656 mt of MGO, and LSMGO sales of 8,176 mt.
