The Vietnam Coast Guard on Monday (14 October) caught a vessel TG 90959 TS transporting diesel oil of unknown origin, it said.

An inspection by the authority found the vessel carrying about 45,000 litres of diesel oil; the captain could not prove its legality.

As such, it has made a record of “administrative violations” and escorted the ship to the home port of the Coast Guard unit for further investigations and handling.
