Update: Coastal Oil Singapore to hold creditors meeting on 28 Dec

Troubled Singapore-based Coastal Oil Singapore Pte Ltd (UEN 200413975N) is scheduled to hold a creditor’s meeting on December 28.

The session will be held at 10 Anson Road #28-15 International Plaza Singapore 079903 at 10.00am (Singapore time), according to a Thursday announcement on local papers.

It noted the purpose of the meeting to:

  1. Receive a statement of the company affairs together with a list of creditors and the estimated amounts of their claims;
  2. Appoint a liquidator;
  3. Appoint a committee of inspection of not more than five members, if thought fit;
  4. Any other business

“Creditors may vote either in person or by proxy,” stated the announcement.

“To be valid, a proxy must be lodged with the Company care of the provisional liquidator at AAG Corporate Advisory Pte Ltd of 30 Raffles Place #17-01 Chevron House Singapore 048622 not later than 4pm on day before the meeting or adjourned meeting.

“Creditors who chose to vote in person are to register for the above said meeting at 9.30pm.”

Coastal Oil Singapore on 13 December filed for liquidation as part of a creditors’ voluntary winding up operation.
