ScanOcean enters bunker re-seller partnership with Neste

Renewable fuels supplier and refiner Neste and marine fuel and lubricant supplier, trader and buyer ScanOcean AB on Tuesday entered into a re-seller partnership to deliver Neste’s 0.1% low-sulphur marine fuel on the East Coast of Sweden.
“The re-seller partnership with ScanOcean is part of our marine fuel strategy as it is our aim to continually offer customers better services both locally and globally,” said Neste’s Marine Fuels & Services Manager Jacob Granqvist.
“Neste’s low-sulphur marine fuel is an excellent example of our capability to meet the tight environmental requirements.”
It will focus on supply from the Neste terminal in Södertälje, servicing nearby ports from Gävle in the north to Norrköping in the south and Lake Mälaren.
Delivery will be made by trucks covering the entire mid Swedish region; ex-pipe deliveries are also possible from the Södertälje terminal.
“We are excited to increase our product offering and to further promote Neste’s unique marine fuels to the Swedish market by showing our clients the benefits of the DMB and RMB products compared to other marine fuels,” says Jonatan Karlström, General manager at ScanOcean.
