Singapore: Sing Fuels receives prestigious Enterprise 50 Award
Singapore-based bunkering firm Sing Fuels received the Enterprise 50 (E50) award on Thursday (29 November) recognising it as among the 50 most enterprising privately-owned local companies in Singapore.
“Winning the E50 Award is a huge achievement and we are thankful for the support we have received from our valuable customers, suppliers and staff, all of whom have contributed to this distinguished achievement,” says Sonnich Thomsen, Managing Director, Bunkers at Sing Fuels.
“This is a great start to our new financial year and a big encouragement to further improve our services and operations.
“Sing Fuels had a humble beginning in year 2012 and since then, we have evolved into a global bunker trading company.”
“Today, our footprint spreads across United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey, India, Denmark, Nigeria, Taiwan and Greece.”
Sing Fuel’s products and services includes marine fuels, lubricants, risk management, cargo trading, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) trading.
The firm is also a member of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) and Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI).
The E50 Awards, first established in 1995, recognises local, privately-held companies who have contributed to economic development in Singapore and abroad.
It is jointly organised by The Business Times and KPMG, and supported by Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Business Federation and Singapore Exchange. The E50 Awards is sponsored by OCBC Bank.
