Singapore: Brightoil bunker tanker fleet placed under Sheriff’s arrest
Singapore bunker publication Manifold Times published the following news on 23 November at 2.40 am (Singapore time):
The bunker tanker fleet of Singapore bunker supplier Brightoil Petroleum (S’pore) Pte Ltd has been arrested at Singapore port on Wednesday evening, according to the Singapore High Court.
The following bunkering vessels were placed under arrest at different locations in the republic:

Petrolimex Singapore Pte Ltd has submitted a winding up petition against Brightoil Petroleum (S’pore) Pte Ltd at the High Court of Singapore; the hearing of the winding up application is scheduled at 10.00 am (Singapore time) at the Open Court at the Singapore High Court on Friday (23 November).
Hong Kong-listed Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Limited, the parent company of Brightoil Petroleum (S’pore) Pte Ltd, on Wednesday announced several developments signalling its return to the shipping sector and reorganisation of debt.
