Dan-Bunkering hearing for “Megacore Honami” starts at court
Legal representatives of Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M. and the owner/charterer of chemical and oil carrier Megacore Honami (IMO No. 9456070) met on Thursday (28 March) at a Pre Trial Conference (PTC) in the High Court of the Republic of Singapore to discuss a bunker claim.
The 36,955 dwt Megacore Honami was arrested and held at Eastern Special Purpose Anchorage 'A' (Grid 5617C) since 22 October, 2018.
Dan-Bunkering is claiming a total US $328,350.67 (not including interest of 2% per month) from two unpaid bunkering contracts issued in November 2017 for the delivery of marine fuel and lubricants to the vessel, according to court documents obtained by Manifold Times.
The first contract is valued at US $63,558.50; the second contract at US $264,792.17.
The Megacore Honami is owned by Fire Navigation and managed by Omega Navigation; the vessel’s technical manager is Interunity Management Corp, show data from the Claritecs Asset Management system.
